I’ve always had a deep appreciation for sensory-rich, outdoor play for children and now I’m bringing my own brand of imaginative experiences to your little ones—encouraging them to
imagine, connect, and play!
With over 20 years of experience in play-based preschools, I know how essential open-ended outdoor play is for children and how much joy they find in these experiences. As I considered the direction of my life’s work, I felt a strong desire to advocate for open-ended outdoor play, reconnect with my passion for working with children and build a business that reflected my commitment as a play advocate. These desires inspired me to pivot from my role as a cooperative preschool director and launch Playful Designs, allowing me to create more opportunities for imaginative and sensory-rich play that children and their families can enjoy together.
What began as designing outdoor play spaces for families has since evolved into a full-service event business specializing in messy play activities for parties, events, and music festivals and I absolutely love it!
Whether it’s at a birthday party or a festival, there’s no better way for kids to explore, get messy, and connect with others, all while having a blast.
